About Us

Overview

The Round Rock Housing Authority was established in 1966, with the first development being built in 1972. Today the Housing Authority owns 100 units and administers 125 Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers. Approximately 200 persons are assisted through these programs.

A seven-member board, including two resident board members, oversees the organization. The board is appointed by the Mayor and City Council. Each board member serves a two-year term.

Board of Commissioners

The RRHA Board consists of seven members, each of whom serves a two-year term. The board sets policy according to the U.S. Department of Urban Development (HUD) and governs the federally subsidized housing units in Round Rock. Two of the seven members must be residents of the RRHA units. Read More
